It was quite long time ago when a group of local operators, inspired by many visitors, started team contesting in the beautiful island of Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean.

It is time again for the SP DX Contest, a one-country event with a long tradition. The first Polish International Amateur Radio competition took place in 1933.

I have always had a lot of respect for people who get together and build large antennas and share them with other radio fans. The spirit of collective Amateur Radio was spread all over Eastern Europe in the 50s and 60s of the previous century.

TI2KAC, TI2JCY, TI4ZM, K4UN, N4JO, W4BW, W4KTR and W4XO will be active from Costa Rica in ARRL DX SSB Contest as TI8M.
