Radiogrupo Sur will be activating the Flores Island (IOTA SA-030 / WLOTA LH-0528) during August 15th, 16th, 17rd and 18th.
Besides making operational the insular entity for IOTA, it will de done also with its lighthouse (RLHS URU-001) as the activation period also match with the International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend.
The transmissions will be made with the CV5A call sign and shall be conducted on all bands (160 meters; the short wave, including WARC; and VHF) and in all modes.
Also, on August 16th to 18th, our club will be operating another lighthouse special call: CW5X, from Punta Jose Ignacio (ARLHS URU-006).
