I live on a limited lot measuring 47m by 89m, but the good thing about it is its proximity to salt lake Karataban of 1 mile in diameter.

Clive, 3B8CW, is one of the most technically advanced Amateur Radio operators in Mauritius. I met him twice while I was on holiday in this charming island in December 2016.

While holidaying on Mauritius in December 2016, I tried to visit a few local Amateur Radio operators.

This small island, far away from the beaten tracks of the contemporary modern world, is sometimes a meeting point for radio amateurs.

TL - Central African Republic is a landlocked country in Africa with a population of about 4.6 million and got its independence from France in 1960. Currently there is an ongoing civil war in the country between the Muslim Seleka rebel’s coalition and government forces which began in Dec 2012.
